Jamaican-Canadian rapper delivers a bold anthem of heritage, history, and identity
Toronto, ON — As Black History Month 2026 continues, Jamaican-Canadian rapper UZMAN has released a powerful new single titled “Black Facts”—a socially grounded hip hop track produced by IDS Beats and arranged by Beat Charge Inc. The record delivers a message of cultural pride, historical awareness, and resilience, making it a timely and impactful addition to the month’s celebrations.
Already gaining traction on streaming platforms, “Black Facts” explores the deep links between history and modern life, highlighting how past events shape present realities. It references significant moments in Black history, including the Tulsa Race Massacre, and encourages listeners to reflect on both inherited trauma and generational strength.
UZMAN’s delivery blends lyrical sharpness with a steady rhythm, amplifying messages of truth, identity, and cultural empowerment.
Part of a Global Conversation
While February is recognized as Black History Month in both Canada and the United States, other countries such as Germany also observe it this month. The UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands celebrate Black history in October. In this global context, “Black Facts” contributes to an international reflection on Black excellence, activism, and unity.
Building on a Conscious Legacy
The single follows UZMAN’s 2025 release “August Free (Emancipation Anthem)”, which was selected as the official anthem of Emancipation Month International, promoting global recognition of Emancipation Month. Together, both tracks position UZMAN as a cultural voice committed to music that educates and uplifts.
“Black Facts” is now available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes, and all major digital platforms.
