1Ski OG Shows Multiple Sides of His Artistry on Debut Album “Alter Ego”

Kingston, Jamaica – Jamaican dancehall artist 1Ski OG has released his debut album, “Alter Ego,” a 15-track project that moves between faith, introspection, romance, betrayal and hard-edged dancehall.

Released September 25, 2026, through Against Da Grain/Epic Records, the album is the most extensive statement yet from an artist whose path into music began after he first built an audience as a comedian and actor.

A 15-Track Introduction to 1Ski OG

The album’s title reflects 1Ski OG’s interest in showing different sides of his personality.

“We all got mixed personalities that sets us aside from each other. Who you choose to be only you can decide,” he said in the release announcing the project.

That idea runs across the tracklist. “Stay To Mi Self” takes a more introspective direction, while “Life of a Man,” featuring Romieikon, moves into emotional vulnerability. “Riches Forever,” “Mad Dem,” “Options” and “Ratatata” bring a tougher edge, while “Ay Gyal,” “Have You Ever” featuring Sortie and “Bounce Remix” featuring Fito Blanko shift toward romance, rhythm and the dance floor.

“The Lord” Opens on Faith

The album opens with “The Lord,” featuring Sortie, a song centred on faith and resilience. The record is supported by an official video and sets a reflective tone before the album moves through its broader range of moods.

Other collaborations include Romieikon on “Wrong Friend” and “Life of a Man,” Sortie on “Have You Ever,” and Fito Blanko on the “Bounce Remix.”

From Valdomore to Recording Artist

Before his music career, 1Ski OG was known as Valdomore, a social-media comedian and actor from Victoria Town in Manchester, Jamaica.

His 2023 breakout recording “Dawkniss,” released under the name 1Ski Mask, became a viral success and helped lead to his deal with Against Da Grain/Epic Records. He later adopted the 1Ski OG name as his music career expanded.

The campaign leading to “Alter Ego” has included playlist support from major streaming platforms and appearances on stages including New Rules Festival.

With his first full-length project now released, “Alter Ego” positions 1Ski OG beyond the viral moment that first introduced him to a wider audience.
