Wayne Wonder to Headline Caribbean Night at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival

Wayne Wonder Brooklyn concert will feature Lila Iké and DJ Gravy during the festival’s “Radical Joy” season

Kingston, Jamaica – Veteran Jamaican entertainer Wayne Wonder is set to headline a Caribbean-themed concert during the 47th season of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! festival in New York.

The free outdoor event will take place on Saturday, June 20, at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

Joining Wayne Wonder on the lineup are rising reggae artist Lila Iké and popular selector DJ Gravy.

Caribbean Music Takes Centre Stage in Brooklyn

Festival organizers say the event will celebrate Caribbean culture and music through a blend of reggae, dancehall, soul, and party-focused performances.

Wayne Wonder returns to the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! stage following previous appearances and continued international recognition tied to his reggae fusion catalogue.

The singer remains best known globally for hit songs including No Letting Go, one of the defining reggae crossover tracks of the early 2000s.

The event also highlights the continued influence of Jamaican and Caribbean music within New York’s multicultural arts landscape, particularly in Brooklyn, which remains home to large Caribbean diaspora communities.

Festival Continues Under “Radical Joy” Theme

The 2026 edition of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! is being presented under the theme “Radical Joy,” with organizers curating a lineup that reflects cultural diversity, live performance, and community celebration.

The Wayne Wonder-led Caribbean night is expected to draw reggae and dancehall fans from across New York City and surrounding areas.

Concert organizers confirmed that the show will begin at 7:00 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.

Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans are also being encouraged to RSVP online for festival updates and opportunities to access VIP tent passes.
