Doors will open at 6 p.m., with performances scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Shaggy Returns to a Major New York Stage

For decades, Shaggy has been one of the most recognizable ambassadors of Jamaican music, earning international acclaim through chart-topping hits, Grammy-winning projects and a career that has helped introduce dancehall and reggae music to audiences around the world.

His appearance at SummerStage places Caribbean music front and centre in one of the world’s most influential cultural destinations.

The event is expected to draw fans from across New York City and the wider Tri-State area, many of whom have followed Shaggy’s career from his early dancehall recordings to his global crossover success.

Star-Studded Supporting Lineup

Joining Shaggy on the bill will be a diverse group of performers representing multiple genres and generations.

The lineup includes R&B singer Robin Thicke, dancehall duo Tanto Metro & Devonte, reggae vocalist Rayvon, and performers Noah Powa, NESTA, Amber Lee, Mathew Malcolm and Shuga.

Together, the artists will deliver a showcase reflecting the global influence and continuing evolution of Caribbean music.

Caribbean Culture in the Heart of Manhattan

Hosting duties for the evening will be handled by DJ Norie, Roxy Romeo and Li’l Nat, while Tropical Blendz and Afrique will provide DJ sets throughout the event.

The concert continues SummerStage’s long-standing tradition of presenting diverse cultural programming while highlighting the significant contributions Caribbean artists have made to New York City’s cultural landscape.

For generations, New York has served as a second home for Caribbean music, making Yaad Live a fitting addition to the city’s summer entertainment calendar.

A Celebration of Music and Community

More than a concert, organizers describe Yaad Live as a celebration of Caribbean culture, community and musical excellence.

The event brings together legendary performers, emerging talent and influential media personalities for a night that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the Caribbean diaspora.

As one of the marquee reggae and dancehall events scheduled in New York this summer, Shaggy’s Yaad Live is expected to be a major attraction for music fans throughout the region.
