Chezidek Returns to Abidjan After Eight Years on 2026 Africa Tour

Written by on October 7, 2026

ABIDJAN, Côte d’Ivoire — Jamaican roots reggae singer Chezidek will return to Abidjan on Friday, October 23, as his 2026 Africa Tour continues across the continent.

The concert at AZK Live follows an earlier tour stop in Togo and marks Chezidek’s first appearance in the Ivorian capital in eight years.

Roots Reggae Returns to Abidjan

Chezidek has built his career around conscious roots reggae, and the Abidjan booking places that catalogue before an audience in a country with a longstanding appetite for Jamaican reggae.

The October 23 show is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. at AZK Live, formerly known as Champion Live. The open-air venue sits along the lagoon in Cocody Blockhauss.

Three-Stage Ticket Release

Organizers announced three ticket stages for the concert. A limited flash early-bird offer was set at 5,000 FCFA on September 28. Presale tickets are priced at 10,000 FCFA from September 30 through October 15, with 100 promotional tickets available.

The normal ticket rate rises to 15,000 FCFA from October 16 through the night of the concert, subject to availability at the gate.

Africa Tour Continues

The Abidjan date follows Chezidek’s earlier stop in Togo and strengthens the African leg of his 2026 touring schedule.

For Ivorian fans, the performance also carries the significance of a return: it has been eight years since Chezidek last performed in Abidjan.
