Jenelle Alexia Heads Into October With Fashion, Film and Awards Appearances

A’Legends CEO Jenelle Alexia begins a busy October in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 3, where she is a finalist for the Fashion Trailblazer Award at the fifth staging of the Inna Starz Awards Show.

The appearance marks Alexia’s first year attending the event and her first nomination there, adding another fashion recognition to a career that has increasingly crossed between clothing, film, publishing and entertainment.

Fashion Trailblazer Recognition

Alexia’s October schedule follows a period of growing visibility for the A’Legends brand. In 2025, she received the Diaspora Excellence Award for work spanning fashion, creative entrepreneurship and youth empowerment, and she has also worked as a stylist within Jamaican entertainment.

Her Fashion Trailblazer nomination places the design side of A’Legends at the centre of the October 3 appearance in Pennsylvania.

Film and Fashion Follow in Delaware

One week later, Alexia is scheduled to attend the second annual Caribbean Film & Fashion Festival in Delaware on October 10. She will serve as a presenter and is connected to an award nomination for the Jamaican film “Unbelievable,” in which she co-starred alongside Spragga Benz.

“Unbelievable” returns to the festival after receiving recognition at its inaugural staging. Alexia is also scheduled to showcase a new A’Legends clothing line during this year’s event.

A Career Across Creative Fields

“I’ve never wanted to be defined by just one title,” says Alexia. “Fashion, film, music, publishing and philanthropy are all different expressions of my purpose. I believe God gives us gifts to grow, create and make an impact.”

Her work extends into community activity through the A’Legends Helping Hands Foundation and Shana’s Caribbean Cafe in Philadelphia. The foundation and restaurant have collaborated on providing meals to homeless people since 2023.
