Mighty Mystic Brings Reggae to Safety Harbor for Intimate Florida Concert
Written by Cat Radio UK on October 1, 2026
Jamaican-born reggae singer Mighty Mystic will perform at the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center in Florida on Friday, October 2, bringing his catalogue to the venue’s intimate live-music setting.
The concert takes place at 706 2nd Street North in Safety Harbor. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m., with the programme scheduled to run until 9:30 p.m. The venue lists advance admission at $25 and door admission at $30.
Mighty Mystic’s U.S. Reggae Journey
Mighty Mystic emerged internationally in 2006 with “Riding on the Clouds.” The Safety Harbor Art & Music Center’s event listing traces his wider breakthrough to his debut album, “Wake Up the World,” released in 2010.
His development outside Jamaica has made him part of the U.S.-based reggae circuit while maintaining a musical connection to the island where he was born.
An Up-Close Concert Setting
Rather than a large festival environment, SHAMc presents the performance in its covered, open-air pavilion and describes the space as an intimate listening room designed for limited-size audiences and close-up performances.
The venue’s fall 2026 concert calendar places Mighty Mystic at the front of an October programme that also includes the Backtrack Blues Band and Chris Beard.
