Couleurs Urbaines Festival Returns to Southern France for 18th Edition

Couleurs Urbaines Festival 2026 will spotlight reggae, dancehall, dub, afro, and urban music cultures

Kingston, Jamaica – The Couleurs Urbaines Festival is preparing to return to southern France this summer for its 18th edition, continuing its reputation as one of the region’s leading celebrations of reggae and urban music culture.

Scheduled to run from June 5 to June 7, 2026, the annual festival will once again take place at Parc de la Navale, a waterfront venue located along France’s Mediterranean coast.

Over three days, audiences will experience a diverse lineup blending reggae, dancehall, dub, afro music, hip-hop, and tropical bass performances across two outdoor stages.

International and Francophone Artists Featured on 2026 Lineup

Festival organizers have confirmed that more than 20 artists and DJs will perform during the 2026 edition.

This year’s lineup includes reggae band Danakil, veteran Jamaican reggae artist Clinton Fearon, singer Maureen, Dutch dancehall and tropical bass DJ Kybba, and French-Angolan artist Ronisia.

Additional performers include THK, Bleu Soleil, Shannon, and several DJs recognized within Europe’s tropical bass and dancehall scenes.

The festival’s programming continues to reflect the growing crossover between Caribbean music traditions and contemporary global urban sounds.

Festival Built Around Music and Community

Founded in 2008 by the Culture Plus association, Couleurs Urbaines has evolved into a significant cultural event within the Mediterranean festival circuit.

In addition to live music performances, the event has become known for its artisan village, multicultural food vendors, family-friendly atmosphere, and eco-conscious initiatives.

Organizers have also maintained a focus on inclusivity and cultural exchange, helping position the festival as more than just a music event, but a broader celebration of Caribbean and urban artistic culture.
