Sean Jones Launches Thursday Night Residency at Primadonna in Toronto

Sean Jones Primadonna residency brings live R&B performances to Toronto’s King West dining scene

JUNO Award-winning Canadian entertainer Sean Jones has officially launched a new live music residency at Primadonna, bringing weekly Thursday night performances to Toronto’s King West entertainment district.

The residency, titled La Notte (The Night), began on May 7 and is presented by INK Entertainment. The performances combine live R&B entertainment with an upscale dining experience at the Italian-American restaurant.

Promotional material for the residency describes the concept with the tagline: “Dinner isn’t the final act—it’s just the beginning.”

Jones, known for his soulful live performances and wide-ranging career in music, television, and stage production, has established himself as one of Canada’s recognizable R&B entertainers. Throughout his career, he has shared stages with internationally recognized artists including Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, Usher, Macy Gray, Eric Benét, Natalie Cole, and Canadian performers Jully Black and Divine Brown.

His career has also included appearances on Ellen DeGeneres Arena Tour and recognition for his single “Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone” from the feature film Sons 2 The Grave, which received a Hollywood Music Award nomination.

Beyond recording and touring, Jones has continued building a strong presence within Canada’s live entertainment scene through performances at venues including Harbourfront Centre, Palais Royale, and El Mocambo.

The new Primadonna residency adds another chapter to Toronto’s growing live music dining culture, blending dinner service with recurring concert-style entertainment experiences.

Audience members attending La Notte can reserve a $65 prix-fixe dinner package that includes access to the performance, or purchase a standalone $25 ticket for the show.
