Frahcess One Launches Midnight Tribe Records With Dutty Money

The Jamaican dancehall artist is pairing the release of “Dutty Money” with the launch of his independent Midnight Tribe Records imprint.

Kingston, Jamaica — Dancehall artist Frahcess One has launched Midnight Tribe Records, an independent label introduced alongside the release of his new single “Dutty Money.”

The track was officially released September 11, 2026, with distribution through ONErpm.

An Independent Label Move

Frahcess One is taking financial and creative ownership of his masters as he develops music under the new imprint.

The move is part of an effort to build an independently controlled Jamaican music operation, with publishing and digital administration organized under the Midnight Tribe banner.

“Dutty Money” Introduces the Imprint

“Dutty Money” is the first major release associated with the label launch. The street-oriented dancehall track uses a continuous melodic flow and storytelling intended for dances and sound-system settings.

The song moves away from repetitive “chop-scammer” themes in contemporary dancehall, focusing instead on street-oriented storytelling.

Released Through ONErpm

“Dutty Money” is credited to Frahcess One, with Midnight Tribe Records listed as the label and ONErpm handling distribution. The single became available on September 11.

The launch gives Frahcess One a platform for releasing music under his own label identity as he develops the Midnight Tribe Records catalogue.
