TORONTO – JerkFest Toronto is preparing to celebrate a major milestone this summer as the Caribbean festival marks its 25th anniversary with a weekend dedicated to food, music, culture and community.

Taking place August 7 to 9 at Centennial Park in Etobicoke, JerkFest Toronto 2026 will bring together Caribbean cuisine, live entertainment, cultural showcases, family-friendly activities and premium hospitality experiences as organizers celebrate a quarter-century of one of Canada’s premier Caribbean festivals.

International Caribbean Stars Headline the Festival

Music will once again be a central attraction at this year’s event, with organizers announcing a growing lineup that includes Jamaican dancehall stars Spice and 450, Trinidadian soca sensation Patrice Roberts and Jamaican reggae singer Lukie D.

Known globally as the “Queen of Dancehall,” Spice is expected to bring her signature energy and catalogue of hit songs to the festival stage. Dancehall artist 450 continues to build a growing international following, while Patrice Roberts remains one of the Caribbean’s most recognized soca performers.

Lukie D, known for his smooth vocals and lovers rock catalogue, rounds out the current lineup with a performance expected to appeal to reggae fans across generations.

Festival organizers have indicated that additional artist announcements are still expected ahead of the August celebration.

Celebrating 25 Years of Caribbean Heritage

Since its inception, JerkFest Toronto has grown into one of Canada’s largest celebrations of Caribbean culture, attracting thousands of attendees annually from across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada and the United States.

The festival’s 25th anniversary edition will continue its tradition of showcasing authentic Caribbean food, cultural exhibits, community organizations, artisan vendors and interactive experiences designed to highlight the richness and diversity of Caribbean heritage.

Organizers describe the event as a gathering that brings together food lovers, music fans and families for a weekend of cultural celebration.

Caribbean Flavours Take Centre Stage

While the entertainment lineup continues to attract attention, JerkFest Toronto remains best known for its culinary offerings.

Festival-goers can expect a wide selection of authentic Caribbean cuisine, including jerk-inspired dishes, traditional island favourites and specialty food vendors representing various Caribbean cultures.

Food demonstrations, marketplace vendors and cultural programming will complement the live entertainment throughout the weekend.

VIP Boat Cruise Launches Festival Week

Ahead of the main festival weekend, organizers are introducing a VIP Boat Cruise Meet N’ Greet experience scheduled for Thursday, August 6.

The exclusive event will take place aboard the River Gambler at Toronto’s waterfront and is designed to provide guests with a premium kick-off to the anniversary celebration.

Attendees will enjoy a jerk chicken meal, vegetarian options and cash bar service. Organizers have also indicated that artist meet-and-greet opportunities are planned, subject to artist travel schedules and availability.

Premium Experiences and Getaway Packages Available

Festival organizers are also promoting a range of VIP experiences and accommodation packages for visitors looking to enhance their JerkFest weekend.

Hotel and admission packages are available through the Residence Inn by Marriott in Mississauga, located near Centennial Park. The packages are intended to provide convenience for guests travelling from outside the Greater Toronto Area.
