Quavo Confirms Final Migos Album and Tour With Offset to Honour Takeoff

Final Migos album plans bring Quavo and Offset back together creatively, with unreleased Takeoff vocals expected to help the surviving members preserve the sound and legacy of the influential Atlanta trio.

Migos may have one final chapter ahead, and Quavo says he and Offset intend to make sure it honours Takeoff.

Quavo confirmed in September interviews that the surviving Migos members are working toward another album and a tour. The announcement transforms their public reconciliation into something more substantial: a planned return to the group whose sound helped reshape mainstream hip hop in the 2010s.

“We coming back. We’re going to do it one more time,” Quavo told V-103’s DJ Greg Street. He also said a tour is part of the plan.

The proposed album would be the first Migos full-length since Culture III, released in 2021. That project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

More importantly, it would be the group’s first album since Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in Houston on November 1, 2022. Takeoff was Quavo’s nephew and one-third of the trio alongside Quavo and Offset.

Quavo told Hot 97 that the group wants to preserve Takeoff’s presence rather than simply move forward without him. He said the artists have material Takeoff was working on and want the music to retain the original Migos character. Posthumous Takeoff vocals are expected to be part of the project.

That approach gives the proposed album a different purpose from a conventional reunion record. Quavo and Offset are not simply reviving a commercially successful brand; they are confronting how Migos can exist after the loss of one of its three voices.

Quavo and Offset Reconnect in the Studio

The reunion also follows a difficult period between Quavo and Offset. The two artists spent time apart amid tensions surrounding Migos before reconnecting publicly. Their decision to work together again gives fans the clearest indication yet that the reconciliation has reached the studio.

How Migos Changed the Sound of Hip Hop

Migos rose from Atlanta’s rap scene with early records such as “Versace” before becoming international stars. “Bad and Boujee,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the Culture album series established the trio as one of the era’s dominant rap groups.

Their influence extended beyond individual hits. The group’s tightly interlocking flows and rhythmic approach became widely imitated across hip hop, while Quavo, Offset and Takeoff each developed solo careers alongside the group.

No album title, release date, tour schedule or venue list had been announced as of this update. Those details will determine when the reunion moves from intention to formal rollout.

What is confirmed is that Quavo and Offset intend to make Migos music again — and that Takeoff’s legacy will be central to how they approach it.
