Emerging Jamaican Dancehall Artist DKoi Builds Catalogue With Symphony

The St. Andrew artist, who began recording professionally in 2019, is working with Cashout International as he develops his catalogue and audience.

Kingston, Jamaica — Emerging Jamaican dancehall artist DKoi is building a new phase of his career around “Symphony,” one of a series of releases intended to introduce his sound to a wider audience.

DKoi was born Deshaun Jackson and grew up in Sugar Loaf, Hillside, near Gordon Town in St. Andrew.

From Early Studio Exposure to His First Release

DKoi was exposed to the music industry from an early age and began working professionally as an artist in 2019.

His first recording, “Summer Vibes,” was produced by Kanpe Tof Records and released that year. He later released material including “Inagram,” produced through his Young Donz Entertainment imprint, and “Elevate,” produced by ZJ Dymond.

Developing a Melodic Dancehall Sound

DKoi’s approach is melodic, with musical influences extending beyond dancehall to artists including John Legend. He is using that range as he develops his identity within Jamaican music.

His music emphasizes versatility and is intended to connect with listeners from different backgrounds.

Working With Cashout International

In 2026, DKoi began working under the management of Cashout International, which is preparing additional music following “Symphony.”

An audiovisual for “Symphony” has also been released, while the single is available digitally.
