Saint Lucia Jazz Festival 2026 brings Monica and Brandy to headline a star-studded Caribbean festival lineup

CASTRIES, Saint Lucia – The 2026 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival is set to deliver one of its most star-studded editions yet, with global R&B icons Monica and Brandy confirmed as headline performers.

Announced in February, the festival will run from April 30 to May 11, bringing together an international lineup that reinforces Saint Lucia’s reputation as one of the Caribbean’s premier cultural destinations. The headliners join a roster that includes Grammy Award-winning artists Tems and Ella Mai, alongside acclaimed jazz vocalist Esperanza Spalding.

Festival organizers say the announcement has already generated strong international interest, with early bird tickets now available for what is expected to be a high-demand event.

A Global Music Showcase in the Caribbean

Set against the scenic backdrop of Pigeon Island National Park, the festival blends music, culture, and tourism, attracting thousands of visitors annually. The 2026 edition will feature a wide-ranging musical offering, spanning Afrobeats, jazz, reggae, soca, gospel, pop, zouk, and rock, reflecting both Caribbean heritage and global influences.

Festival Chairman Thaddeus M. Antoine emphasized the significance of this year’s headliners in elevating the event’s profile.

“Monica and Brandy’s inclusion add significant star power to an already dynamic and carefully curated lineup, elevating anticipation among music lovers, cultural tastemakers, and international travellers alike.”

He added that their performances are expected to blend nostalgia with contemporary appeal, aligning with the festival’s tradition of showcasing world-class talent while celebrating Caribbean creativity.

The 2026 schedule includes multiple themed nights and performances:

  • April 30 – Opening Night: Featuring Capleton, Valiant, Asa Bantan, D’YANI, Shervon Sealy, LM Stone, and Amber Digby
  • May 5–7 – Pure Jazz & Kingdom Night: Featuring Esperanza Spalding, Branford Marsalis Quartet, and gospel performances led by Tye Tribbett
  • May 8 – Caribbean Fusion: Featuring Kes the Band, The Original Wailers, Skip Marley, and Dexta Daps
  • May 9 – World Beats: Headlined by Tems and Ella Mai
  • May 10 – Grand Finale (Mother’s Day): Featuring Monica, Brandy, Beverley Knight, and Billy Ocean

In addition to live performances, the festival will continue its “Art and the City” programming across the island, featuring visual art, theatre, spoken word, and immersive cultural experiences.
